My 66 year old father suddenly got a high fever and in few days we discovered he has a urinary tract infection. He is a diabetic on insulin. He checked his creatinin levels this year and it was in the normal range. After admitting him to the hospital, his fever was gone and the doctor said he would go home in two days. His creatinine is increasing from 1 to 4 in 3 days. Same is the case with urea which is 125. The doctors are asking for temporary dialysis to be started immediately. Please guide

My husband has type 1 diabetes. He has had no Insulin today but has had five hypoglycemia episodes today, and his sugar levels are dropping again. He had his regular food all day, drank juice and cans of coke. He has not done anything different to any other day and also has not been stressed either. He treated all attacks the way he normally would. What could be causing all these if he has not had any fast acting Insulin since last night?

I am almost 18 and ever since I was little I have had horrible headaches or migraines. Before, I used to get at least once in a week. If I sit in my dark closet, I feel like I am going to vomit. So I do not want to get out of bed. I tried talking to my doctor about it and she said it was nothing. My family thinks it as stress.but I am not. My headaches are worse than they have ever been. My wife has been suffering from rheumatoid arthritis for more than 10 years. For the last two years, she has been taking infusions of Ristova. Last infusion was six months ago. I went to a new doctor today for leg swelling, joint pain and stomach aches. She asked me to do a series of lab tests. She told me that everything came back negative but a trace of old case of Lyme disease showed up but nothing to worry about. Then she carried on to give lecture on my weight and that I need to lose weight. I am 5'7' and 130kg . Have history of bipolar depression. I think joint pain and depression may have some relation with Lyme disease. Please suggest solution

I am an 18 year old male. I am obese with weight 135 kg. I got plenty of test done in a single year. In March of 2014 I got my CT scan of full abdomen followed by five chest x-rays in 2014-15, mainly in March 2015. One CT scan brain plain in April and bone densitometry scan in June and a CT PNS in October (yesterday). Now I am scared to go and meet a doctor. I am absolutely worried of getting cancer because of radiation of repeated xrays. Please tell what to do

For the past two months I have been experiencing pain while urinating and I also have pain when my bladder is full. I had taken urine test and the test said I had infection for which I was given antibiotics. The pain has decreased, but mild pain is still persistent. I took a urine culture test later. The report said there was no bacteria. Then I had abdomen and pelvis scan done. The report was normal. But pain is unbearable now. Please help.
